uhh, if you are talking about to take the bird ON the plane, then none. but if you are checking the bird in with your baggage, then it'll cost you, if they even let you check it. And dogs/cats, you can check, some for a charge, but unless it is a dog for the blind, you cant take it ON the flight. (even if you tell the gate agents he dosent bite)

You do not say what species they are?are they two males?
At this time of year some birds are coming into breeding condition and this will cause aggression as one wants to dominate the other.
If they are so aggressive toward each other and drawing blood then I would remove one and put it in another cage alongside it's"mate"till they calm down .
(are they Lovebirds?)
My answer answers your question Cockatiels can and do get agressive now the breeding season is here.

There isn't any way to make a ceiling fan safe for birds- aside from keeping it turned off when your pets are out. Have you considered getting standing fans with the protective grates/covers?

Cats (and dogs) have bacteria in their saliva which can kill birds. That said, we have a cat and two birds, it just takes extra care to make sure the other animals can't get into the room the birds are in. Birds are very fragile creatures, and often come out second best in interspecies tussles. :(

Start playing more with your budgies and interacting with them more so they won't be so boring. You can also get them a playgym and watch them play. Some budgies are very entertaining and do funny things. I've had parakeets that liked to flap their wings upside down. I had one parakeet that liked to wear the bell on its swing as a hat. It looked so cute. I also enjoy hearing them chatter and I have two male parakeets that talk. Some of my parakeets have bonded closely to me and they get excited to see me. They'll jump on the bars in front of the cage to great me. Some have even regurgitated their seeds to me, which is a sign of affection. I had one that enjoyed a good head rub. They are like friends to me and are great company. More great things about birds: they don't smell, they don't poop on the floor (unless you let them fly all over your house, which I don't), they don't require any vaccinations or have to be spayed or neutered, some birds sing very well and sound so beautiful, they cost much less to care for than dogs or cats (although avian visits can still add up and so can food).

Keep the birds out of reach.
You can put the kitten into a room and close the door when you let the birds out.
