Hmm, This is odd. An expert village video that actually gives some good advice
the bird is saying, stop asking me to step up!
whats the typical price for a cockatiel
my brother and i just got two male tiels..
my brother’s bird is less tamed than mine and bit his fingers and caused blood lol
any tips on how to tame it?
He keeps bugging the bird by making it step onto his finger.. the bird is gettin annoyed lol..
Lovebirds are wayyyyyyyy better. Those little guys have a much more diverse vocabulary.
my cockatiel like it
Azureheavens90, If it bit his finger that hard, then it is your brother’s fault. Nothing personal against your brother ofcourse. But what he needs to do is to take it slow. Look at what the bird wants. And bribe it – Yes, bribe it with some sort of food that it likes extra much. (Never take away the ordinary food ofcourse) Giving it alot of toys might also help. Sinse it stimulates the curiosity in their brain and makes them try new things.
They’re just so loud, though.
I think it’s a baby, from the sound of it, so maybe he’s training it?
Well that’s true, but you can always teach lovebirds to control their chirping.
it can depend.
they can be 50-200 canadian dollars for the bird alone.
when i got mine, he came from a breeder and he was super tame. adn he was only 50$!
COCKA SUCK YEAH balls
can cockatials be together with parakeets?
the’yre not that loud really comparison to other birds they are really quiet
Yes. They can be together, although I have never seen them associate with one another inside the aviary; they seem to keep to themselves, but I have never seen one go after the other. Keep a large enough feeding area for however many birds you have, I can see problems arising over food. All of my birds eat at the same time it seems, once one gets hungry, the rest of them decide that they are hungry as well.
It all depends on the bird usually, I have cockatiels that talk their little heads off and I have some that I have spent countless hours trying to get them to speak and no result, from what I understand the females are least likely to speak and lo and behold all my females don’t talk, but they will chirp your ears off.
Parakeets have the largest capability of having vocabulary, in fact a budgie holds the record for the most diversified vocabulary of a bird.
disay
@Weirdo03369111 you suck fucknig dick bag cockatiels are SUPER CUTE!! you are not your the one who fucks

Dont worry about it I owned one, they will always nip/bite just ignore it they dont hurt
and eventually they will get tired and stop biting.
@leggoon619
No. I owned one for 11 years. he/she should be fine as long as it meets all the other requirements clear eyes no discharge, etc. They puff up for sleep or if there pissed.
your cockatiel wants a scratch behind the head.. thats why he nibble and squawker .. mine does that all the time, i got mine from a pet shop and he is inseparable from humans, if a blood feather breaks u might wanna take him to a vet asap.. they can die from that.
